Day 1 – Dehradun to Raithal/Barsu Village

A beautiful drive from Dehradun to Raithal or Barsu village is the first step in the journey. It takes about 7-8 hours to cover the 200 km distance. Day 2 – Raithal to Gui Campsite

How to Reach Dayara Bugyal Trek

From Delhi

Travel from Delhi to Dehradun can be done by either train or bus, and will take about a 6-7 hour journey (approximately 300 km). Once in Dehradun you can hire a taxi to either Raithal or Barsu Village which is an additional distance of approximately 200 km, and will take an additional 7-8 hours.

From Dehradun

The closest major city to Dayara Bugyal is Dehradun. From Dehradun ISBT, you can either take a bus or hire a taxi to Uttarkashi, 150 km (5 to 6 hours). You’ll need to travel 35 km from Uttarkashi to Barsu Village.

From Uttarkashi

It takes approximately 1½ hours to travel 35 kilometers by taxi from Uttarkashi (which has good all-weather road connections to Dehradun and Rishikesh) to Barsu Village.
